Accessibility & free access
What's actually free, with no time limit
| Free plan | What you get |
|---|---|
| Opportunities | Your top SAM.gov notices, forecasts, grants, and the forms library. |
| AI | 1 AI-assisted draft and 2 complete proposals a month, included — no card required to sign up. |
| Free tools, no account | The SAM.gov readiness checklist, opportunity search, and GSA rate lookup at /#tools work without signing up at all. |
Paid plans add the full opportunity queue, unlimited rate lookups, filled official forms, and the Relationship Dashboard. See all plans and pricing, including discounts for military/veteran, public-service, and financial-hardship situations (one per account, never combined) at /#discounts.
Certification resources — none of these are automatic
These programs can open set-aside contracts, but each has its own ownership, control, and application requirements, verified by the SBA, not by us. You'll need an active SAM.gov registration first.
- Women-owned (WOSB) / economically disadvantaged women-owned (EDWOSB): requires at least 51% ownership by a woman or women who also control the business's day-to-day operations and long-term decisions. Apply through MySBA Certifications ↗ (also covers HUBZone and 8(a)).
- Veteran-owned (VOSB) / service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVOSB): certification moved from the VA to the SBA; self-certification ended in 2024, so a formal application through VetCert ↗ is required.
- 8(a) Business Development: for socially and economically disadvantaged owners, with income and net-worth limits, also through MySBA Certifications ↗.
Both portals are free. They're the same ones used to check certification status inside Capstat's Relationship Dashboard.
Already certified? The Relationship Dashboard (paid plans) tracks your certifications and warns you 60, 30, and 7 days before a renewal is due, so a lapsed certification doesn't knock you out of a bid you didn't see coming.
Accessibility
The public website has a skip-to-content link, visible keyboard-focus outlines, and labeled buttons and form fields throughout. We're still extending the same keyboard and screen-reader support into Litdesk, Awardlevels, and Capstat's own interfaces — that work is in progress, not finished.
If a page is hard to use with a screen reader, keyboard-only navigation, zoom, or any other assistive technology, tell us what page, what you were trying to do, and what happened:
